Letters From Current and Former Prisoners
Adel Mabrouk Was held without charge for 7 long years in Guantanamo without charge or trial, he was then sent to Italy where he is imprisoned in a sardinian prison and is awaiting trial for allegations made. the Conditions in macomer prison for muslim prisoners are known to be horrendous, medical treatment is often witheld, and they are subjected to brutal physical and mental abuse and beatings from prison gaurds, many prisoners are kept in their cells in isolation, only being permitted to leave for one hour per day.
